The VMIT chooses to lay special emphasis on ensuring that the students are ready for the technical challenges of an information society. There are a number of computing facilities on the VMIT campus.

Every computing center in this network is enabled by state-of-the-art technology and reflects the prevailing trends in computing. Advanced networking technologies facilitate a seamless integration of the various computing centers and the multiple operating systems. The university encourages hands on experience at all levels.

VMIT provide computer labs with high speed, leased line internet connectivity with power full servers for students, administration and management. Computer labs are provided with UPS power back -up. Other facilities include Linux mail server, Antivirus software and fire wall protection.
